i) The person must be a graduate in Economics with at least 55% marks.

ii) The person must have completed his/her B.Ed.

iii) The person must not be less than 25 years of age.

iv) The candidate must hold 1-2 years teaching experience.

a) At ii) if the person has not completed B.Ed but has completed his/her Post Graduation in Economics, then the candidate is to be selected.

b) At iv) if the candidate holds no teaching experience, but has done 6 months internship or Research work, the the case is to be forwarded to the President.
