1. In the deserted battlefield a battle had been fought recently and a drum had been left behind by some men.
2. He took the courage to creep forward cautiously and on seeing the drum he realized it was only the wind making the noise.
3. One day, a hungry jackal was wandering in search of food and reached a deserted piece of land outside the jungle.
4. As strong winds blew, the branches of the tree got rubbed against the drum and it made a strange noise.
5. When he got near the drum he found sufficient food and water there, realizing that only the brave can succeed in life.
6. When the jackal heard the sound, he got frightened and thought of running away but then decided not to run away without seeing the person making the noise.
