Six people Jatin, Kamal, Latika, Manoj, Naina and Ojas are living in a six storey building in which topmost floor is numbered one and bottommost floor is numbered six but not necessarily in the same order. All of them work in a Government Office at different designations. The order of the positions in decreasing order of Seniority is Chief Secretary, Secretary, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Assistant Manager and Executive.

Latika lives on a floor which is immediately above the floor on which Chief Secretary lives. Only two floors are there below the floor on which Ojas lives. Jatin who is a Deputy General Manager lives on an odd numbered floor. There are two floors between Chief Secretary and the floor on which Manoj lives.  Secretary lives on a floor above the floor on which Chief Secretary lives. Latika is not a Secretary. Kamal is not Secretary. Executive does not live on a floor number which is either a prime number or a perfect square. Kamal or Naina is not Executive. Less than three persons are ranked above Latika. General Manager lives one of the floor above Assistant Manager.
