In a stationary shop, 8 boxes kept having different stationary – Pen, Pencil, Rubber, Sharpener, Compass, Chalk, Marker and Slate. Each box has a number written on it from 1 to 8 but not necessarily in that order. The boxes are arranged one above the other in ascending order with the lowest numbered box at the top.

There are five boxes between Box of Pencil and Box of Compass. Box of Marker is at bottommost position. The number of boxes between Box of Rubber and Box of Pencil box are exactly equal to the number of boxes between Box of Rubber and Box of Compass. Box of Chalk is kept exactly between Box of Pencil and Box of Sharpener but above Box of Pen. Number of boxes kept below Box of Pen is exactly equal to the number of boxes kept above Box of Sharpener. There are three boxes between Box of Compass and Box of Sharpener.
