Comprehension Passage

Directions : Read the following information carefully and answer the related questions.

There are two groups of students i.e., Group 1 and Group 2. Students from this groups are interested in taking taking admission in Nalanda University, Takshila University and Madras University and they are applying for that. In each group, every person can speak at least one language among Maithili, Sanskrit and Malayalam. Only people who can speak at least two languages among Maithili, Sanskrit and Malayalam were called for the Screening in any one of the three universities.

Group 1: 44% of people can speak Sanskrit while 50% of people can speak Maithili. 13% of people can speak only Malayalam. 86 people can speak Maithili but not Sanskrit. 11% of people can speak only Sanskrit. The sum of number of people who can speak only Maithili and the number of people who can speak all three languages together is 44. 74 people can speak Malayalam but not Sanskrit.

Group 2: 56% of people can speak Malayalam which is 10 more than the number of people who cannot speak Maithili. 34.4% of people can speak Malayalam but not Maithili. 12% of people can speak all three languages which is 2 more than the number of people who can speak only Maithili. 120 people can speak Maithili. Respective ratio of the number of people who can speak only Malayalam to the number of people who can speak both Malayalam and Maithili but not Sanskrit is 9: 4.

Note:

- Respective ratio of male to female who were called for the Screening from Group 1 is 2: 1.

- Out of people who were called for an Screening from Group 2, 25% were males.

 

Out of total people called for Screening from group 2, if (2k + 1) people were called by university Nalanda, (k + 11) people were called by university Takshsila and rest 16 were called by university Madras, then 'k' is equal to -
