K is not sitting at the extreme end. Two persons are sitting between K and N. Only one person is sitting to the left of T and only one person is sitting between T and D. D is one of the neighbours of N. Number of persons sitting between K and N is the same as the number of persons sitting between P and J, who is sitting at one of the extreme ends.
